1.Nail Art Tutorial: Geometric Roses
This rose-and-geometric nail art is as pretty as a cottage garden with its trellis full of blooming garden roses. Here’s a tutorial on how to paint your own bloomers!
By simplifying the design, anyone can get this soft garden look.
Tutorial
STEP 1. Paint your nails with a base of white like Barry M Coconut. Let dry.
STEP 2. Using a nail art brush and a pink polish, draw rough circles on your nails. The best way to do this is to use very little polish on the brush and apply it in a dabbing motion for a softer effect.
STEP 3. Lightly dab white and a darker pink on to your roses, again using very little paint on the brush.
STEP 4. Using a nail art brush and an olive-colored nail polish, draw two or three leaves around each rose.
5. Apply striping tape to the other two nails. I created a trellis grid by applying three strips at intervals horizontally and diagonally to create triangles. Paint with an olive green.
6. Remove the striping tape and apply top coat to seal in your design.
